Way To Go Panny!

Bob_Panasik.jpg Bob Panasik might not be a household name when the golfing greats are being discussed around the dinner table. However, there is a strong argument that this omission belies the contribution the “Panny man” has made over the years. Long before the likes of Mike Weir was carrying the torch for Canadian golfers, there was Moe Norman and Bob Panasik.

Few will be aware that “Panny” still holds the record for the youngest golfer to make the cut in a PGA event. Bob was four months shy of his sixteenth birthday when he played all four rounds in the 1957 Canadian Open.

His resume puts his career in perspective. It includes:-

Nine times Canadian Tour champion.
Represented Canada at the World Cup three times.
Has won twelve provincial titles.
Won two CPGA Championships.
Won three Senior CPGA Championships.
Played in the U.S. Open eleven times.
Played the Senior Tour in 1994.

Bob is a member of both the Ontario and Canadian Golf Hall of Fame.

Bob is still a fanatical golfer. Now in his late sixties, he can still be seen most days on the golf course. Still working on his game and always ready to share his latest swing tips with anyone who will listen.

Bob is also proud of his Lectronic Kaddy Dyna-steer MX9 which he uses about five days a week during the season.
During his last visit to Paradigm Sports – Lectronic Kaddy factory for a ‘Kaddy checkup, Bob was asked what he would say to other golfers yet to discover the merits of playing golf with a Lectronic Kaddy. His comment was :-

“Be a leader, join me ‘Bob Panasik’, aged 68, Canadian and Ontario Golf Hall of Fame member, using Lectronic Kaddy MX9 to walk 5 miles plus a day to keep fit and productive. Lectronic Kaddy, excellent for your health, great for your golf”

We agree with you Bob, who could argue with you anyway?
